Join a Family of Multipotentialites
Get the support you need to build a life around ALL your interests
Lets face it: There aren’t a lot of resources out there for multipotentialites.
It’s not like you can go to a career counselor and ask how to become a filmmaker-scientist-teacher-artist-nutritionist. Most of them will look at you like you’re insane, and then “kindly” explain that “we all have to choose eventually…”
You’ve probably had similar discussions with friends and family members.
They all wonder what you’re up to. Are you afraid of commitment? Are you self-sabotaging because you’re afraid of success? Or are you just irresponsible, and is it time to grow up and choose a direction?
You can feel them rolling their eyes when you become fascinated by yet another new subject. They certainly don’t share in your enthusiasm over this new passion. You dread being asked what you do, and you struggle with getting people to take you seriously.
When the whole world is stuck in this specialist mentality, where do you go for support and guidance?
How do you pull all of your interests together to build a sustainable, beautiful, multifaceted life? How do you actually make a living while doing EVERYTHING you love?
When you’re stuck on a problem, where do you go for advice and accountability? What’s your action plan if your business, career or life feel like they’re just not moving forward? Do you have people in your life who understand how you are wired and respect your multiple passions—even people who have made this work themselves?
Any real action I take usually occurs when I have other people in my life that are also taking action and encouraging me. That’s why I’m loving Puttyverse. I'm finally getting things done.

The comments I got in the Puttyverse critiquing my website were phenomenal. I was absolutely blown away by the level of insight everyone had. I was expecting answers that were much more broad, but people really took the time to go into detail. I’m really grateful to be part of the group in there. Honestly, I love it!

"There's a new career/course/adventure I'm thinking of trying, where should I start? "
"How do I stop wasting time and get focused? "
"How do I set up a WordPress site?"
Whatever you’re going through, you’re not alone. And no one will ever pressure you to choose just one thing.

Prior to the Verse, I’d never met people who understood what I was talking about when I described my interests and challenges. It's a safe community where people can open up and really discuss problems; that's a rare and special thing. I'm still surprised at how quickly members get comfortable with each other and have genuine openness.

Either option gives you access to our lively forums (containing years of collective multipod wisdom) and a whole range of private events: workshops, challenges, mixers, show and tells, and all of the huddles your heart desires!
Am I too old / young / inexperienced for the Puttyverse?
Nope! It doesn’t matter whether you’re just beginning your multipotentialite journey, or whether you’ve been at it for a while and want regular advice and accountability to keep you on track.
The Puttyverse is for everyone. We have students, working professionals, and retired folks. We have multipotentialites of all ages and backgrounds and we believe that diversity is an asset to all of us. There is a home for you here.
Are there people like me in the community?
That depends what you mean by "like me," but the short answer is YES.
The map above is a snap shot of our member directory and each pin represents just some of the amazing puttypeep you can meet.
Our members are into anything and everything, and they come from all walks of life and many different cultures from around the world. You're almost certain to find somebody who's interested in whatever weird (or not so weird) thing you're excited about.
We've got artists, entrepreneurs, engineers, teachers, writers, makers, parents, students, coaches, retirees, photographers, philosophers, carpenters, coders and so much more! And of course, everyone in the community is more than just one thing.
People aged 16-88 have joined and we're ready for you at any stage of life. We've run events and had conversations in Spanish, German, Italian, and other languages besides English.
We have many introverts, ambiverts, and extroverts. We have many members with a similar Myers-Briggs, DISC, Enneagram, Big Five, or another profile like you.
So yeah, you'll be able to find someone (or multiple people) who share a whole lot with you. Plus we all understand the joys and challenges of being a person who is curious about many subjects and doesn't just want to do or be one thing.
How much of a time commitment is the Puttyverse?
The thing with our community is that you choose how involved you want to be. You don’t have to do much in order to see big benefits. There’s no need to be in the forums all day long or to participate in every single huddle. You can just log in and post a question when you need help, and your fellow members will be there.
The biggest thing the Puttyverse has done for me is create a community I know I can reach out to for help and advice. People who get where I’m coming from. We’re a very diverse group, but there’s a sense of camaraderie here that I haven’t found anywhere else. Lately, my kids have been battling cold after cold. They’ve been home from school, and I’ve had a lot of time offline just sitting, reading, and holding them. My accountability group in the Puttyverse helps motivate me to carve out time to keep my goals on track despite the scheduling setbacks.
What does the site actually look like?
Good question! It's hard to capture all the magic and respect our members' privacy at the same time but the community looks something like this:
A note from Emilie...
The Puttyverse is a safe and inclusive space. People are warm and supportive and no one will push you to do anything you aren't comfortable with. Our stellar Puttyteam is always available to you, too.
But let’s put aside the positive impact the Puttyverse can have on your career and your life for a moment. The truth is, you’re going to make friends! The Verse is like one big crazy family... and we're all the black sheep.
See you in there!

What Our Members are Saying...
One of the most important gifts I've received from the Puttyverse is much more clarity on how to pull together seemingly disparate careers/interests and better brand myself thematically. Or basically, how to not be paralyzed by the "So, what do you do?" cocktail question.
I can’t believe how easy some of the conversations I’ve had in the community are. It’s like my words are understood before they even come out of my mouth. For me, the Puttyverse definitely replaces social media with higher quality, in-depth content. And it adds a network of people with whom I instantly feel valued. It's like a sense of community and belonging that I’ve never felt before.
I can’t imagine what people who aren't in the Puttyverse do to get their projects up and running! Seriously, I have no idea what my life would be like if it weren’t for the Puttyverse. I’ve launched blogs, made friends all over the world, written books, and finally got myself into a daily routine that makes me happy because of the community. Heck, I wouldn’t have been earning my living online for the past two years if it weren’t for the help of the people in there! I am so, so grateful that I came across it when it did. It’s life-changing.
I just went to my first Puttyverse huddle and I'm still smiling about having met such inspirational and supportive people. Wow! It feels like a milestone to take part, and my multipotentialite soul sings.
The Puttyverse helped me get past a rough time where my confidence was low. I decided to share what was going on with me and quickly received many caring and thoughtful responses to my question. I love that the Puttyverse is there for me when I need it.
The Puttyverse is everything it says on the tin; a warm, vibrant community of like-minded people. People who will hold you accountable to your goals and dreams, people who will never dismiss you for being different. But there’s one surprising aspect of Puttyverse that rarely gets mentioned: it increases synergy. I can’t tell you how many opportunities Puttyverse has brought me; opportunities to teach, opportunities to learn, it’s given me a mastermind group, and a blogging support group. I’ve been okay with my multipod identity for years, and I really didn’t know what Puttyverse would do for me. But my goodness, it’s tremendous what a group of square pegs can accomplish when they don’t have to first demonstrate why the round hole doesn’t work. We just do it!
I really enjoy the Puttyverse, and that’s coming from a self-confessed ‘pretty cynical person.’ You’ve made something which has me believing I’m not trapped by the traditional system. I finally feel like it is possible to have a life of my own design.

Before joining the Verse, I felt very anxious, unsure, and alone. I had a lot of ideas and things I wanted to do, but I lacked the support and guidance to feel justified in putting them into action. The Puttyverse has been a huge help to me, emotionally and ambition-wise. Everyone I’ve met here has been super-supportive and very understanding of my ups-and-downs. It’s a safe place for me to express myself, experiment with ideas, and even admit when things aren’t going as well as I’d like. I credit the community with giving me courage to try my ideas and giving me space to grow as a person. I don’t think I could’ve gotten my Etsy shop open if not for the huddles and support I found here.
I’d struggled for nearly 20 years knowing that I couldn’t specialize in just one thing. I have to say, it’s bloomin fab to able to chat to so many other people who just ‘get it’.

I’m SO happy to be in the Puttyverse! Honestly, I wasn’t leaping through the doors when you first announced it. I guess that sense of live community support, with my inconvenient eastern/Asian time just didn’t appeal enough to me. But I’m glad I overlooked that and decided to join. The calibre of support and quality of thoughtful responses is mind-blowing for me! I'm a member of other paid communities and feel like I’m either lost in the group or there is literally zero activity. The Puttyverse TRULY feels like home and that’s amazing to me because I always felt like I never belonged.
